  • Student Loan Forgiveness.

A 34-year-old accountant who paid off $100,000 in private student loans says they deserve relief too.

    https://news.yahoo.com/34-old-accoun...112658860.html

Ash, a 34-year-old accountant from Connecticut, graduated from college in 2009 year with more than $100,000 in private loans, she says.

Still, she thinks of herself as relatively lucky. With the help of her husband, who didn't have his own student loans, they managed to pay them off in March 2022, after 12 years of making sacrifices so they could afford the monthly loan payments.

When she looks at all the money she paid to free herself from the shackles she felt her loans put her in, she thinks of all the other places that money could have gone and how different her life could have been: "I could have bought a house. My situation could have been different."

So buy making bad life choices those who planned not to go to college now we have to pay for those who went into debt to get their education. Yeah screw that.

They should force the Colleges to refund the money.

This scheme is nothing morethan a transfer of wealth - you have heard of Equity. Those with lowest income will get $20K. Inflation will be with us for a long, long time. Probably even go higher. Using rule of 72's, at 6%, money will double every 12 years. 72 divide by 6 = 12

How in the world are so many people talking about the "shackles" that student loans put them in, without ever asking the questions: Why does college cost so much to begin with? How and why do universities get away with it? Why, how, and by whom are so many students duped into thinking that repaying will be such a simple thing?

I think more families would make the choice to go to less expensive schools, but so much of the education system, public and private, is so damn fixated on kids going to the "best" possible school they can get accepted to. And it's such nonsense, just pure and utter nonsense. Just another form of cultural brainwashing. I'd love to see a large-scale drop in enrollment at expensive universities, people coming to their senses, but nope, the system will just keep the brainwashing going and the money wheel turning.

My wife and I just dropped about 15K for the Kid’s first semester. Talk about a slap in the face.

Rats in charge of the cheese. It’s not about education, it’s about maintaining numbers to keep the system operational.

Those numbers are declining and I think there’s going to be a reset before long. Eventually enough unemployed graduates are going to skew the statistics to where they won’t be able to claim simply having a degree will be an advantage in life.

College costs have tripled in the past thirty years.
As long as loans are available and people are willing to borrow, the costs will keep going up.
              Blame the colleges.

Congratulations on your success! I've yet to succeed in winning. Despite the fact that I still lack much experience in this game. My poor experience with cash payments even caused me to temporarily quit playing at the casino. But eventually I was able to locate a trustworthy joker room casino login website. But in order to avoid getting carried away with this process, I try to play once a week or every few weeks.

I seem to have my best luck at the blackjack tables at casinos, esp. those run by Native Americans tribes.

Joe Biden Wants to Give an Extra Social Security Increase to Some Retirees.

                    https://www.fool.com/investing/2022/...mpaign=article
                    • Biden campaigned for president with a plan to increase Social Security benefits for older retirees.
                    • His proposal is to phase in a benefits increase for retirees who have received Social Security for 20 or more years.
So far, Biden hasn't pushed for this Social Security change because he's focused on other priorities.
