Where does all the heat go from the 5,000 planes in the sky at any given time?

There are 135,000 btu's in a gallon of jet fuel. 114,000 btu,s in a gal of gas.

Also, where does the almost 100 degrees of heat from each individual of billions of people on earth go ? Does that in any way contribute to global warming, and or climate change ?

Commercial planes are made to fly efficiently at high altitude. When I worked for one major U.S. trunk carrier, they and their associated car rental company burned 10% of the petroleum based fuel consumed in the U.S. The heat, of course dissipated in the atmosphere just like the heat from all the humans and all the cars. At that time our longest route burned more than a railroad tanker of fuel one way. Alternative fuels are being tested now with hydrogen showing promise, especially for shorter routes. The biggest fuel consumption savings came with eliminating holding patterns cased by the FAA (severely penalizing carriers for not taking off on time even though the destination airport was closed or congested). The second largest saving was from computerized route planning and control, considering burn efficiency, current atmospheric conditions and winds aloft. Newer engines are also much more efficient than their predecessors.

In the Middle East they are building a 75 mile long reflective structure to return some of the suns energy to the sun. Hard to believe we are actually at the begining of a 10,000 year cooling off - pre ice age part of our solar development.
