Democrats don't want to make it easier to vote. Democrats want to make it easier to harvest your vote. They also want to be the only ones in the room when the harvested votes get counted, and counted, and counted again. As slobbering Joe Biden said the other day, it's about who counts the votes!

    Let's GO Brandon!!!

lab - Could you provide a link to your claim that Democrats are the only ones in the counting rooms.
As I recall, there was one instance where the Republican poll watchers complained about not being allowed to come closer to the counting.

Poll watchers are partisan, election judges belong to the R and D party but act in a non partisan manner. Election judges are equally represented by both parties and work to make sure everyone who is legally entitled to vote, is allowed to do so, and that their vote counts. If a recount occurs judges oversee municipal workers doing the count. Rightfully they keep poll watchers at a distance, poll watchers can contest, take videos, whatever they want, but they can't disrupt the work of the judges.

Judges are often retired people working for a stipend. Often they've been judges for years. Our process of protecting the integrity of the ballots is pretty good, and difficult to suborn, the days of stuffing ballot boxes are long gone. I trust our election judges much more than any partisan party members. The big lie is very disrespectful to all the good folks who put in so much effort to make the vote honest and fair. Trump has launched primary campaigns against people who would not lie about the vote for him. Republicans. People so honest that they wouldn't lie for Trump knowing full well that anything could happen to them.

In Philly poll watchers couldn't get within 100 yards of the counting, and were escorted from the bldg upon their complaining. In Fulton County Ga their was a flood and everyone was sent home, and they started counting again with no Republicans present for the overnight. That's two off the top of my head. Wisconsin just ruled drop boxes used in 2020 were illegal because they were not authorized by the Legislature. They will not be used in 2022 without authorization of the Legislature. Plenty of irregularities to go around. Zuckerberg got his money's worth. He bought replacement personnel in some areas. You should read RIGGED by Mollie Hemingway. Let's GO Brandon!!!

My workplace was a polling site for many years. I used to enjoy election days to the fullest. The poll watchers, surprisingly, were a fun bunch of people. The older ladies would always bring crock-pots full of stew, casseroles, and chili (with beans), and insist that I partake. The younger ladies, full of civic-duty zeal, were always bright-eyed and chatty.

That upstate NY Matt? Voting in upstate NY was an exercise in futility. What ever the Democrats in NYC, Albany, Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse wanted, they got. Shumer, Hillary and Gillibrand. My new wife, the IDPA girl, was all enthusiastic about Gillibrand, graded A by the NRA as a House member. She became Schumer's mini-me on guns and everything else as soon as she escaped the Upstate area and went statewide.

              Let's GO Brandon!!!

Your polling place is a lot different than a major city or even Syracuse. I made a mistake and was a poll watcher in that dump a few decades ago.

                What a nightmare.

Gillibrand, yep, total flip-flop, without shame.

NYC and Long Island should be their own state, or merge with North Jersey. Or just fall into the Atlantic, whichever.

The really sad part of this entire affair, is that the (d)'s used the filibuster to help Putin!
I thought the (d)'s were all "tough on Putin" and Trump was "soft on Putin"?
Well, they used the filibuster so Republicans couldn't block the Nordstream 2 pipeline. A real money maker for Putin, it bypasses Ukraine and Putin can hold all Europe hostage for natural gas.
                        Nice, huh?
