No sir, I mean who doesn’t like Kenny Rogers? That’s like not liking ice cream.

My folks liked him, Dolly, John Denver, etc.
Any of those types of TV shows or appearances were always watched.

How about the Statler Brothers, Alabama, and the Oak Ridge Boys? They were always playing or on TV at our house. The Statler Brothers Christmas Album was our standby at this time of year. Many years, our Mom would put it on while we opened presents on Christmas morning.

            Yep, yep and yep.

In fact we bought my parents concert tickets to the Oak Ridge Boys a few years ago and they had a great time. Modern country music gets a bad rap these days but “Pop” country has been around awhile.

Marianne Gordon and 3 other ladies I can think of! LOL!

Kenny sprang to fame as a member of "The Fifth Dimension".
Though he was an excellent entertainer, I think he did better acting on the big screen.

If there was a dealer, was there a deck? Maybe not that kind of dealer.

No, and thanks for posting it. That’s another familiar tune that I never knew the title to.

Did anybody know Molly Hatchet covered “Tumbling Dice”?

                                Not bad.
