Those virus figures must be wrong rat ! We were promised by our no-sense leader (?) that he would eliminate the virus, that is what won the presidency for the turkey...........WHAT ?? You actually mean we have been ‘fibbed’ to by Mr. Honesty..........I am heart broken. What have politics come to under such truthfulness..........

We did almost get back to normal. That's the second very low dip. The problem was very low vaccination rates compared to most countries in say Israel or Europe. Those anti vaxers created a large pool of potential infection that kept our numbers ticking along. The numbers were pretty low, low enough so mask requirements were dropped most places.

When Delta hit with it's increased infectiousness a lot of people decided to get vaccinated, but Bubba, Danbo, and Pid didn't. Dead enders. Delta killed a lot of people, but many more were pretty well protected. The vaccine was less effective at combating initial infection, but it remained very good at preventing serious illness and death. Of course you still had your Dambos dying, and they kept numbers up high enough, but no one much cared about them, except their families, and of course our health care system.

Omicron didn't really hit until everyone flew around and visited with family for Thanksgiving. Now the Danbos and Pig hunters who missed it in the first go round got it. Some estimates figure 40% of the population was infected in 3 weeks. Many went undetected, it's a mild form, and many already had some immunity from prior infections or immunization.

As for Biden getting rid of covid? Maybe he could cure cancer too. Trying to ignore the good sources of information is nothing to brag about. We have an evolving worldwide virus, and we live in the richest country in the world, but being stupid can still get you killed, ask Meatloaf.

I don't have antibodies from the government shot , I have natural immunity antibodies and a super strong immune system. No worries here , went out tonight with my wife to a place with large crowd maskless and i will be ice fishing in the morning.

I had Covid over a month ago and am in better shape than I was before.
I added weight lifting to my normal cardio routine
and am feeling great. I'm having coffee now and probably will hit the ice and fish some

The diagnosis for Covid 19 is a 1 deg temp. No temp OR higher temp it is the flu or cold. The test kit detects Covid antigen only. The PCR test uses blood detects Covid 19 antibodies - usually costs $25 to $30.00. Takes several days to complete.
I have read some patients after more than a year still have no taste.

Thats not true. Not everyone who gets Covid has a fever. My whole household was in quarantine the first week of December because we tested positive in an at home test then we had to get a test from our doctors office. My daughter just got some sniffles from Covid.

Why don't you tell your Dr. all that, I am sure he will be interested?

I never said you did not have Corvid. The nasal test is for Covid , not antibodies. PCR is the tests for a patients reaction to the virus, that would be building specific antibodies. BTW, not all antibodies a person has necessarily works against a particular virus.
