Don't know what others' State Fairs are like, but one great thing about ours is, they have free concerts at a couple of different courtyards on the grounds. It was always a good lineup, but even better in recent years as they put more of the budget into paying bands. Some pretty big-name shows for free -- Blue Oyster Cult's a yearly regular -- and you just stroll on over from the fried-dough stand or BBQ joint and get your groove on.
Anyway. Here's the song I first thought of.
