"Fire on the Mountain" by The Marshall Tucker Band .... One of my favorites. I always get a good reception when singing it
We were diggin' and siftin' from five 'til five
Sellin' everything we found just to stay alive
Gold flowed free like the whiskey in the bars

And there's fire on the mountain, lightnin' in the air

Think I mentioned seeing these guys a few years ago at the State Fair. The only original member was the lead singer and he couldn’t do all the songs, but it was still a good show. I started listening to them more afterwards.Comment
