Have you heard the equipment left behind is really the Afghan Army equip we gave to them when we were training them.

    Jimbo -
    Good point.
And that 83 billion dollar figure being thrown around represents the cost of our involvement over a twenty year period.
The equipment was worth about 24 billion dollars.

      1) you forgot your ?. You asked a question.
      2) over $80 Billion dollars worth. I think the total was closer to $86 B. We didn't give it to the Afghans.
We had simply produced more than we (the US) needed and thought Afghanistan would be a great place to store it! 😃

OF COURSE THEY WERE TRAINING THE AFGHAN MILITARY WITH IT YOU DING BAT! WHY THE HELL ELSE WOULD IT BE IN AFGHANISTAN!? (note the question mark!)

Another useless post by the idiot. The U.S. legally turned the equipment over to the Afgan Army and Government, not just trained the Afgan on our equipment. There is a difference.

You can be a special kind of stupid occasionally, jimbo.
This is one of those occasions.
