What a great band. Thanks Matt.
I’m glad you guys are getting in on these, every week there’s something new mixed in. Part of the fun is throwing stuff out there and seeing what comes of it.

I think back as nd think of all the folk style (hootenanny's) of the 50's and the rock bands of the 60's.

          Strawberry Alarmclock
          Iron Butterfly
          The Lovin' Spoonful
          The Royal Guardsmen

          Anybody remember "The Monkees"?
          Mickey, Peter, Davy and Mike!

          Eric Byrd and the Animals
          The Kingston Trio
          Tommy Sands
          Frankie Avalon
          etc, etc.

Did ANYBODY ever mention Elvis? LOL! I wasn't a big Elvis fan, but that doesn't mean he wasn't good.

How many of you knew this man even existed?
Yes, he's still alive (80) and well. I guess.

"Que Sera, Sera" is good. But she was more than that. For variety, I picked a song that was not heard as much.

Yes sir. Ms. Day was the epitome of beauty, grace, humor and wholesomeness.

I didn’t realize this song is from 1968, it still gets played on radio around here.

I can remember when this was a big hit and everybody was singing the song.
