Right now, Sweden is doing nothing.
    No masks.
    No social distancing.
    No shut downs.
    No schools closed.
    No panic.
No more deaths than any normal seasonal flu.
You COVID-19 porn libtards need to get your head out of your a$$.
Nobody believes you any more. You've told too damn many lies.
    That is not true.

Proponents of the lighter lockdown note that Sweden’s excess death rate stayed low, meaning fewer patients died from delaying medical care for other ailments. It can also be argued that maintaining quality of life had intangible benefits. But relative to its Nordic peers, Sweden ultimately had higher rates of COVID-19 infections and fatalities. And Sweden experienced a second round of infections in the early months of 2021 that most of its neighbors escaped.

Despite its efforts to remain open, Sweden still experienced a deep recession in 2020, with a 9% loss of gross domestic product and a three-percentage point increase in unemployment at its peak. Sweden’s downturn was similarly severe and long-lasting as its peers.

Of course it’s possible Jim but I doubt either have pneumonia but maybe they have Covid . Look I’m not anti vaccine but to many people are having complications with the vaccine to turn a blind eye. My daughter in law is a charge nurse in the ICU Christiana Care and isn’t vaccinated and now she is being forced to get it or loose her job. I was surprised that she wouldn’t want the vaccine but it appears many of medical profession have held off from receiving the vaccine. She has had Covid got it back in December and indirectly gave it to me through my son. It nearly killed me ( no joke ) ! Many feel that the natural anti bodies are much better than the vaccine and they also see the side effects of the vaccine.
Jim just be careful at taking a stand to hard, if we went back and listen to all the info again it would be embarrassing ! We are all inundated with lies from the government , press and the medical field. My guess is listen to a doctor you trust.
my wife has put together to date 4 vaccine clinics in her buildings for her residents only about 50% have chose to get vaccinated and about 2/3 of the Housing Authority staff. Mostly all are Democrats 99%
Note ; after last drive to vaccinate staff and residents about 80% of staff or more and about 60+% of residents are vaccinated. Still 99% liberal !

The Alveola is where the exchange of oxygen and co2 takes place. Covid, Bacterial Pnemonia and Viral Pnemonia all target these cells. (China dsigned Covid-19 to specifically seek out and destroy these cells). Unfortunately, after an infection is gone the damage has been done and may be permanent.

Take care of your lungs, not everybody can get a luung transplant. Do daily or whenever you think of it, deep breathing exercises (if you are in an area of clean air, like don't do it when you are pumping gas) ) and cough from deep within. Help your lungs keep clear. Sit down if you get a little dizzy. I have a blood oxygen censor and you would be surprised how deep breathing can increase the saturation % of oxygen. I guess with Covid persisting blowing out candles on birthday cakes is out of the question.

Pmacc I hope you are fully recovered and in good health. I know lungs are hard to heal.

My wife also works in a large medical facility. Mostly all the MDs have been vaccinated, I think they only have 100 or so at the place so it's hard to be accurate just because they all are, with RNs the numbers drop some, and with LPNs even more, the lowest percent is amongst nurses aids and that kind of thing.

I wouldn't recommend finding a doc you trust and doing what they suggest. Most will simply seek out a doc who agrees with their point of view. On the net you can find an MD who will say just about anything. The WHO and the CDC and other large govt orgs have made plenty of mistakes and given out tons of info that has later been changed as they learned more, but they are the best we have, they have epidemiologists working for them, not just some random MD.

The same with news sources. Small, web based, ideological, sources are probably no where near as trustworthy as big non partisan ones, like Reuters, AP, BBC and the Canadian CBC.

Wishing health for you and all you know.

Who here is unvaccinated I wonder. Hard to see how Covid misses many this go round.

                          • "Moderna recommends third shot of vaccine to defend against new coronavirus strains."

                            https://news.yahoo.com/moderna-recom...142700542.html

The company also reported that its two-dose vaccine created lasting immunity months after receiving the second shot. The vaccine was still 93% effective after six months, compared to an efficacy rate of about 94% two weeks after received the second shot.

This post is not designed to irritate people, although I am sure that it will. Well, that is just tough! Deal with it.

                            • Everyone should keep track of what may affect the health and well being including their family. Be it political, medical or economic. It is your responsibility to keep informed.

                              • Unfortunately, our media is not interested in keeping anyone informed. Our media is as political as any other business operation and is for sale to the highest bidder. The CCP is protected by our media as is the Democrat Party. Any fool who thinks otherwise is deluding themselves.
