People are suffering for weeks or months wishing they took the vaccine. Some are having to go on the ventilator. I know a 80yo woman who had Covid in March for a month and wished she would die.

That is pure propaganda , many minorities are refusing the vaccine because of lack of trust in the government and medical field. My wife is the director of public housing and many Hispanic and black Americans are refusing to become vaccinated . Many people she works with are Democrats as are most of the residents .one of the office buildings was closed today because one of the vaccinated staff tested positive for Covid and has become very ill. My son in law told me yesterday that one of the men in his office wife got vaccinated and was rushed to the hospital last Friday and is on life support. She was perfectly healthy and is now fighting for her life. My wife’s uncle got vaccinated and past away a couple weeks later of Covid pneumonia ! I believe vaccinations are sound in theory and practice and I also know it’s not FDA approved. It’s a persons choice and there is so much bad information out there and lies no wonder people are hesitant to trust in the vaccines available.

Sounds like it's ripping through Indonesia and Burma, and getting a foothold in many other places that were able to keep it at bay for a long time using tight border controls and lockdowns. Vietnam, Japan, Thailand, Australia.

The only one I've heard of that's doing ok is Singapore where they have closed borders, restrictions on gatherings, intensive contact tracing, and now almost everyone vaccinated. Singapore has a huge population of STEM educated professionals, lotta biologists, every single positive case turns over cell phone data so their GPS track for the past few days is alerted and contacts go into immediate isolation.

Our positivity rate is very high, like north of 10%, but so many of those are vaccinated and without serious symptoms, that hospitals aren't as overrun as one would think. Well, except Florida maybe. A doc there interviewed today mentioned he's seeing many more pediatric cases than before.

I figure this is all just a practice run, wait until this thing mutates such that current vaccines aren't effective, and yet it spreads faster.

When I go to the thread, only 60 posts show.
That means that 40% of posts to this thread is stone rodent and pre 00 ford. I'd bet that another 40% are jhjimbo. That leaves only 20% that are actually aware of the stupidity of COVID-19, Delta variant and vaccinations.

PMAC, it is possible the two you mentioned that died may already of had the Covid virus or pneumonia. In that case the vaccine would have been too late - takes weeks or more to develop antibodies.

My advice is go out on a lake and fish, eat a lot of garlic and don't take a bath. Maybe that social distancing will help.

BTW, did anybody see the news flash about Mass.? Seems almost everyone who got vaccinated got the virus. Have not heard any more about it.
My guess is it was the brand that needed deep freeze storage and it got warmed up and was inactivated - just a guess.
