I don't believe for one minute that this is any more than a continuation of the past COVID-19 fear, smear campaign brought on by the Chinese and the left.

Not aimed at you jimbo, it's a jab at the (liberal) establishment for it's quackery and fear campaign.
They have two cures and preventatives (hydroxy chloroquine and Ivermectin) for this COVID-19 bull malarkey that have proven WAY more effective than the witches brew they're peddling now.
But nnoooooo.....the left wants more shutdowns, more mask mandates, more fear, more economic destruction.
What better excuse to pass their $3.5 TRILLION boondoggle?
What the (d)'s aren't telling the public is they have another two or three trillion dollar package they want to pass as soon as (if) "Crazy" Joe inks the first economic disaster.

I have 3 close friends who aren't vaccinated. A couple 65 and 70 years old for politics, and an illegal alien 52 years old who is very uneducated and more into quackery and CT. I figure they all will get it. My state has a high number of unvaccinated but it's by area. Heavily minority of black people in the city, Mexican nationals in meat packing, and extreme conservative parts of the state. Infections however aren't limited to those areas. Test positive rates are edging up across the state.

The Delta spreads more easily than we are used to. Just being outside might not be enough. A fast trip to the grocery during a slow time of day might still bring on an infection.

I read somewhere recently that actual lifestyle differences between conservative and liberal aren't much different. Liberals will say they always wear a mask indoors or never go to social events but cell phone data shows different.

Stats still show under 300 deaths per day, and mortality rates seem lower, around 1.4% for those detected positive.

I agree that those who are unvaccinated will get it. The political couple are two of my oldest friends, I've known them for 45 years. Some might have a mild case, others will be sick, some will die. Hydroxy chloroquine and Ivermectin will prove as effective as snake oil.

For whatever reason the right wing in the US has been trying to make believe covid is not a thing for a year and a half, why, I don't know. It cost Trump the election, and it's not doing much good to this day. No one trusts people who won't see the obvious.

That Mexican fella I know, his kid broke his arm Sunday, 4 years old. No need to cut into the arm to do repairs the doc said, which is just as well due to the phase that the moon is in cuts heal slower. That's what my amigo told me, I looked at him and he said that's what the doctor said. I don't believe the moon affects the healing of cuts. I also think the vaccines are very safe, and the virus can make you a little sick, very sick, or worse.

A poll today said most unvaccinated people think the vaccine is more dangerous than the virus. 37% vaccine more dangerous/34%not sure/29% figure virus is worse. #1 Demographic unvaccinated group is black folk.

30% of the unvaccinated say the Delta variant is not a serious threat to anyone, 33% say the Delta variant is a threat to everyone, like people who have been vaxed too. Unbelievable. It's like almost half the US thinking the earth is flat or something.

Not having a universally accepted source of news is a pretty big hindrance with something like the pandemic. I guess controversy generates income.

All vaccines administered in the US are extremely safe. Fully vaccinated people don't die and don't even get seriously ill, most don't have symptoms, and only 5% are able to be infected anyway.
