  • TGIF; Salute to Dads

Probably end up heavy on the Country side but I’m starting with a favorite from a couple years before the Kid was born. Still rings true.

The Kid was in a car seat when this came out, another favorite.

Yeah, I'm a bit heavy into country.

I can remember my dad letting me drive the family station wagon the mile from my grandpa's house to our house the first time.
                      I was excited!
                      I'm sure he was terrified!

I don't know what to say?
I just remembered this one and thought, "Hey! Why not?"

This is the first song I think about of my Dad. At work his nickname was 'Big John' because of strength developed as a diesel mechanic and welder, "Broad at the shoulder and narrow at the hip". I was nicknamed 'Little John' by the same bunch.
