The Return of Donald J. Trump (theepochtimes.com)

  • #2
Interesting, even if a bit overly optimistic. To "root out" the establishment wing of the RINO party, mitch the turtle and lightfoot lindsey gr-amnesty would have to be defeated in elections. The turtle and lightfoot both were re-elected in 2020, which will have them serving (themselves) in the Senate until at least 2026, barring unforeseen circumstances. Neither is a dependable supporter of Trump, both having an ear to the ground and a finger in the wind to check out the most politically advantageous position for themselves.
Then, there is john wayne corny, the unloved and unreliable senior Senator from Texas. Together, these three compose a
triumvirate that could and will oppose any actions by Trump, or some other Trump endorsed candidate who wins election, that they see as not serving their interests.
Circumstances and a 24/7/365 news cycle, plus the massive influx of internet news, have shown us that there is little to no difference in the RINO and the democrat political parties. Both are composed of a "professional" cadre of elitist politicians whose goals seem more aimed at serving themselves and a favored few associates (henchmen?) than serving the American people they were elected to represent.

      Woulda, shoulda, coulda!

It all sounds good, VERY good!
Now... let's sit back and see what happens.

      Let's start a little speculation!

If Trump, for some unforeseen reason, decides not to run....
      then who?

When the (R)'s take back the house, Pelosi will be out as Speaker....
      then who?

If McConnell gets ousted as Majority Leader (Schumer will automatically be unseated) in 2022....
      then who?

      VEEP for 2024?

Life sends you two kinds of people.
They are either a wind in your sails or an anchor on your tail.
Hang on to the wind, cut the anchors loose!

Yeah. Pence could followed Trump's instructions on Jan. 6th and opened the envelope like at the Academy Awards and announced, "And the winner is... Donald Trump."
Just as Hitler was appointed Chancellor of Germany by President von Hindenberg in 1933.
You don't always have to follow the damned book:-))
