  • Donald trump aquitted!

The sham impeachment of Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States, ended today with the Senate voting 57 to 43 for acquittal. Despite the drivel posted by some phony Canajan lunatic, and probably from the slimy nine and the red rodent, it would appear that the demoncrat impeachment managers presented such a weak case on the charge of "inciting insurrection", that even some of the demoncrat Senators were unconvinced.
Correction: The vote was 57 for conviction, 43 for acquittal. Still a long way from a two thirds majority. The way the newcaster said it, I believed that it was 57 not guilty votes.

one reading of the conditions for guilty is the mob had to have 'political plans for an operating government' after an insurrection'. That condition was not met.

It just goes to prove, it is necessary to be able to walk and chew gum at the same time ! Appears that is something the dimwits have trouble doing, or at least convincing sane people they are capable of sound thinking. Let’s do the math here, 0 for 2, I would imagine that is rather poor for the ego issue !! But even with that record, it is the American citizen who is now being dictated to by these losers, and we are to expect that their record of dictating will be better ! With an agenda made up by idiots, are we still expected to have thoughts of a bright future in front of us ???

There was never a chance of Trump being convicted. Despite the ravings of the mentally challenged, such as the Honkster , 75 million people voted for him. Republicans could not expect to be elected dogcatcher if they betrayed their party to that extent. Biden is our President. He was elected by the most foul means. The level of fear mongering by the media and the Democrats was unprecedented in my lifetime. Looting, arson, murder and rioting was condoned by the media and the Democrats as a tool to elect their stooge. Trump proved his popularity on Jan 6 and before but the fix was in. Elections in the US aren't going to be remotely accurate unless identity is confirmed, and a date is a certainty. Without that no non leftist will ever be elected again. If the Democrats are allowed to set the parameters of the voters, citizens will lose their rights.

Glad this Circus is over. The Dems are so afraid of Trump because they are guilty of being illegal themselves. When the evidence gets reviewed by a Court it will be clear Trump WON. The Troops should be removed, Biden and Harris thrown out and Trump take his rightful place in the White House.

              (d)'s wanted witnesses!

Graham (R-SC) and Cruz (R-TX) agreed, voting FOR witnesses.
When Graham and Cruz told the "impeachment managers", (d)'s one and all, their first witness (witless?) would be "Nazi" Pelosi (d-ca) on the top of their list, the libs lost their minds 🤯!
It was either acquittal or show their stupidity!
....which actually showed their stupidity anyway!
              Just like ol Honk!

A total of 57 Senators voted to convict Trump of the impeachment article brought by the U.S. House of Representatives, with seven Republicans joining all 50 Democrats in the chamber. It was the most bipartisan impeachment vote in the nation’s history.

                https://news.yahoo.com/senate-acquit...211230767.html

"But Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., issued a blistering speech on the Senate floor just after the vote in which he lashed out at Trump and said he held him directly and uniquely responsible for the riotous insurrection.

“There is no question — none — that President Trump is practically and morally responsible for provoking the events of the day. No question about it,” McConnell said. “The people who stormed this building believed they were acting on the wishes and instructions of their president. And having that belief was a foreseeable consequence of the growing crescendo of false statements, conspiracy theories and reckless hyperbole which the defeated president kept shouting into the largest megaphone on planet Earth.”

The impeachment was just as valuable as a pisshole in the snow. And just as memorable.

The next two years leading up to the midterms will be as much fun as watching the Dem. primary with every one of them racing to the extreme left to prove the others are closer to Trump in political policies.

When it came down to piglosey being called as a witness, the dimwits backed up real quick ! They sure didn’t want any information pulled from the mouth of this skank about what she knew concerning the plans already known about the events that were shaping up on Jan. 6th, that it was not Trump’s doing, and that the dimwits made no attempt to stop what was known, hoping to blame it all on Trump when it came down ! If anyone wants to know the enemies of America, look no further than those now in power in this country !!!

All Democrats voted to have witnesses, also 4 of the Republicans that eventually voted to convict as well as Graham. I don't think the Dems were worried about Pelosi or anyone else testifying, they want to move on to the Covid Bill, and they want to get home for the 4 day weekend.
