Mayfair [Mall] has a strict no-gun policy, [Wauwatosa Mayor Dennis] McBride shared and said, “guns have no place in shopping malls or other places in which crowds of people gather… If the shooter had complied with that policy, no one would have been hurt yesterday.”

Eight wounded in shooting spree by 15 year old.

What's the penalty for violating the gun free policy? I doubt it will be enforced because more serious charges will be laid, but I'd like to see a prosecutor try it, just to see an example set.

We live in a country where NY Governor Coumo wants armed law enforcement to attack citizens on Thanksgiving day. My house isn't a gun free zone. Democrat Governors are trying to start a civil war!!

I heard there were many county sheriff office's who refuse to comply with Cuomo's dictate!

Well, our local big mall has a "no firearms or illegal weapons" policy. Here's their statement of enforcement:

"The center is a privately owned property. Guests who do not act responsibly may be asked to leave. If they refuse to leave the property, they may be arrested and prosecuted for criminal trespass."

At that mall in July, an 8-year old boy was killed and 3 other people were wounded in a shootout. The man charged had gotten into an argument with a group of other males near the mall food court on the first floor and fired a handgun that had been concealed in a backpack. Several of the others had handguns and immediately returned fire.

The 1st shooter used an "assault-style" pistol and fired through the backpack in which it was contained.
