This bitterness over election results is what comes of running the most vicious negative campaign in history, demonizing an opponent and brain-washing one's supporters to believe that defeat is the end of the world because one's opponent aims to destroy the country.

Bowhunter you've no reason to castigate yourself, you are not a dimwit, only easily fooled, in that you've plenty of company. I blame Trump, he had a lot of support and he blew it. Cook Political REport listed 27 congressional seats as toss ups, Republicans won 27 of them. Trump has some great ideas and he put a few of them into practice, and then he has the totally hair brained CT and denialism that appeals to a certain low brow population and drives educated Rs to the Dems. I'm hoping for a similar agenda but a better change agent, my money is on Cotton.

There's a senate race in Georgia, forcing Republicans to choose between a ridiculous denial of reality, and being unfaithful isn't a good way to encourage party unity.

Runoffs typically draw fewer voters than a general election, and traditionally those who do vote, skew stronger Republican. At this point who knows. I do know that Republican control of the senate is crucial. Without the senate to put the kibosh to things, the more radical portion of the Democratic Part might well try to push through the things they've always wanted. Things that don't take much nuance. No not health care but more likely something like getting rid of the filibuster, or guns.

C'mon lab! "Evidence" is only pertinent if it is anonymous, indicates "Orange Man Bad" or any of his Federal Court appointees or administration.

Should we begin to wonder if those several words have not already been taken into consideration in this issue ? Is the possibility of severe turmoil and unrest been present in decisions of not taking reports of fraud to the point of action ? Is this too much to conjure , or is it impossible to think about ? It appears to be a very different situation with the vote in question in regards as to how the R’s are handling it in a peaceful manner, viruses the way the left with their thugs would be handling it if Trump would have been re-elected ! It just points out which party is for court decisions, and which is for looting, rioting and arson. It is hard to believe which party the people seem to have chosen, is it not ?
