Fox’s Lou Dobbs slams Lindsey Graham, ‘betrayed the American people’

    October 24, 2020

Fox Business’ Lou Dobbs had some harsh words for Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) during his show on Friday, the Washington Examiner reported.

Graham is seeking reelection in a
tight race with Democratic candidate Jaime Harrison, whose campaign has broken fundraising records, according to The Associated Press.

Dobbs, while a staunch supporter of President Donald Trump, is extremely unhappy with the way Graham has been leading the Senate Judiciary Committee.
    Where’s the subpoena?

Dobbs expressed his displeasure with Graham on a number of issues, including Graham’s decision not to subpoena the heads of Twitter and Facebook.

Graham’s Senate Judiciary Committee was one of the first to
suggest subpoenaing Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg over how the companies censored the New York Post’s report about former Vice President Joe Biden’s possible involvement in his son Hunter Biden’s overseas business dealings.

Graham, thus far, has decided against such a subpoena, instead giving Dorsey and Zuckerberg the option to voluntarily testify. And it appears that they are going to — but not until
    after the election.

Dobbs thinks Graham didn’t go nearly far enough.

“I don’t know why anyone in the great state of South Carolina would ever vote for Lindsey Graham,” Dobbs
    said. “It is just outrageous.”
    “Stay tuned”

Dobbs was also outraged by Graham’s handling of his Senate committee’s investigation into how the Russia collusion investigation began. Dobbs pointed out that Graham has, on a number of occasions, suggested that something big was about to happen here, but nothing ever has.

“This is a guy who keeps saying
‘stay tuned,’” Dobbs said. “He said he would get to the bottom of Obamagate with the Judiciary Committee, which has been a year and a half, actually longer, of absolute inert response to these pressing issues of our day.”

Dobbs continued, “Graham has betrayed President Trump at almost every turn. He has betrayed the American people and his oath of office. He’s done absolutely nothing to investigate Obamagate except to tell everyone, ‘Stay tuned.’ Time and time again, ‘Stay tuned.’ Sen. Graham needs to be tuned out in South Carolina.”

Those are certainly some harsh words for Graham. Do the people of South Carolina agree? We’ll find out soon enough.

I cannot help but agree with Lou Dobbs. Time and time again, lightfoot lindsey has promised investigations, action, and subpoenas, only to let things pass into obscurity with no discernable action on the part of himself, or his subcommittee. As bad as I would hate to see another demoncrat in a senate seat, I hope the people of South Carolina unseat lightfoot lindsey, who has proved himself as much a swamp creature and old line "get along, go along" politician as any other continually re-elected politician seems to do. Much as Senator corny from Texas has done, who also needs as good defeat and sent back home from Washington, D.C. However, there is not much hope of that, and the alternative is worse. But in the case of lindsey graham; How much worse can it get?

"... But in the case of lindsey graham; How much worse can it get?..."

In another day and time, I might agree with you.

These days '06, I'll take "Lightfoot Lindsey" over some of the young (D) liberal ideologues chasing legislative seats in our federal government.
Their entire goal is turn America into just another socialist, unwashed armpit.
    I don't disagree with Dobbs.

Yep, I know what you mean, #1 Bubba. We are between the Devil and the deep blue sea. I just get so damned tired of all this talk, talk, talk, and no action. Not just from graham, but the turtle is worthless, barr is turning out to be a disappointment, and so far, nothing from john durham's investigation. I want a little less talk, and a lot more action!

Where are Cruz, Jordan, Gowdy et al?
I do like that Collns guy from GA. He seems like a straight arrow.

I dunno '06, seems the more conservative America turns, the more liberal our legislators turn.
Trump is the first "stand up" POTUS I've EVER seen.
Sadly, it seems that even the conservatives are unsure what to do.
There isn't a handful of (R) legislators (Sen's & Rep's) that care to pick up the mantle of "Constitutional Republic" and wear it with pride. The rest want to wring their hands and wail, "Oh no! You're gonna upset somebody. Can't we all just get along?"

Yep, know what you mean, #1 Bubba. But, you know me, I'd rather get something done than get along. We have been "getting along and going along" since Reagan, and look where we are now. Half or more of our elected representatives think we live in a democracy, with no idea what a constitutional republic is, and I sometimes wonder if one quarter of them have ever read the Constitution, much less the Bill of Rights and the following Amendments!
President Trump and his "damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead" style is a refreshing change from politics as usual.
One has to wonder what all the man could have accomplished without a hostile Congress and all of the interference he has had to contend with.

06, you spoke earlier of TX Gov Greg "Grabbit".

I listened to a radio program the other day and thought about what you said.

The host stated that Abbott wasn't necessarily a "bad" governor, he just wasn't a "good" governor.
His view was that Abbott was surrounded by advisors and assistants. Unfortunately, he didn't "communicate" HIS ideas and thoughts with them or ask for their advice or views and often went off on his own despite their advice OR consent.
The host was speaking specifically of Abbott's "mask mandate".
GOD Bless Texas, I hope she survives his good intentions and bad decisions!

Here's what Texas HAS to survive!

Obama investigation and related investigations is being quarterbacked by Barr.

Congratulations to Graham and Mitch and Donald Trump for giving our Country Amy.

I'm still on the fence about lightfoot lindsey. I don't want a demoncrat in that seat, but I don't like graham worth talking about. He is a worm, but most of the time, he is our worm!
