Like the Covid coming back to haunt him isn't ironic. Wonder when Trump last tested negative for the virus? and why everyone is mum about when that is? Or who actually has tested positive?

And all of this is reflected in the polls, some of which show a pretty hefty distance, of course polls are just polls, but why pull TV adds in midwestern states, it's like the Trump campaign is going dark in Wisconsin, Iowa, etc. Maybe they're out of money.

Wall Street is backing Biden, Trump has run through his bank account and actually has no personal money to put in the kitty. Independents have shown a decided swing towards Biden, as have seniors (those expendable people). Now it's a question of where to get the voters from.

Nationally Trump was hanging back around six or seven percent, after the debates he slipped another couple points, down 9% nationally is not chopped liver, then Trump got infected and it simply reinforced all the misgivings most people had over his Covid handling. That extra 2% seems to be sticking with Biden, the bounce from the debates seems to have stuck.

The election isn't over. Trump still has a 17% chance of winning says Nate Silver, that's a revolver with six cylinders, one of them is loaded.

Still pushing your "fear factor", cock roach?
Not sure "who" you think your scaring, but the vast majority here find you quite farcical.
Pretty much, you're just full of "shee-👀-T"!

This morning things only widened. Probably starting to show effects of Trump's personal infection and handling of it. Certainly the fact that the subject is the biggest story for days isn't helping. each dot represents a different polster, more recent weigh heavier.

There are Trump signs everywhere. Wyoming, Montana,Nebraska, Iowa, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois. They are all along the interstates. They are on barns, boats and billboards. For every Biden sign I saw over a hundred Trump signs. Advantage=Trump in enthusiasm!

As the Trump administration continues to declassify selective CIA documents regarding the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, former intelligence officials are expressing concern that the releases are politically motivated and potentially damaging for national security.

Potentially damaging for national security and Democrat politicians. Using the national security apparatus to spy on your political rivals is illegal, immoral and dangerous from a national security position and a national unity position. The Democrats made war on Republicans and now they are worried that the chickens may be coming home to roost!

Spent 8 days in Alexandria, VA from 9/2 thru 9/10.
In the 'burbs, there were "Dump Trump" signs aplenty.
Outside the city limits, there were probably twice the "Trump 2020" signs. ...and much larger signs! LOL!

Donald Trump mounted an overnight Twitter blitz demanding to jail his political enemies and call out allies he says are failing to arrest his rivals swiftly enough.
It sounds like Trump is starting to crack under the strain. Or maybe it's the medication.

Labrador if Wyoming could just pick our politicians all by themselves I'd be happy. I am voting for Trump despite what polling says. If he loses it will still help run up his numbers so both parties know that they better consider a populist next time and that there are issues he runs on that are important to lots of people.

From slimy nine: "As the Trump administration continues to declassify selective CIA documents regarding the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, former intelligence officials are expressing concern that the releases are politically motivated and potentially damaging for national security."

Nope, nine in the slime. "Former intelligence officials" are just worried that their treason and anti-American actions will be exposed, and they may be held criminally liable.

The object of their concern is that in disclosing the classified material, they often compromise the source.
I know that is a difficult concept for some of our members to grasp, so if you don't get it, there is no need to quarrel.
                        Just move along.

Things are continuing to deteriorate, not falling off a cliff but headed downhill another half a point into double digit territory. The big headlines at various sources are the huge losses for Trump, and those might well be true, but what we are seeing here is an average of all the polling.

When your opponent is above 50% that means there aren't enough undecideds to make up the balance, you have to win people back from the other guy. The state polls are closer, but not within the margin of error. I think at this time in 16 there were like 11% undecideds, when I do the math now I come up with almost 6%.

The usual disclaimers apply, Trump has had a really good ground game, his supporters are a lot more enthusiastic, we don't know how all the mail in voting will go, etc.
