  • Bloomberg the Anti Gun Candidate

Michael Bloomberg, ex Republican, ex mayor of New York, Billionaire to make Trump look poor, and anti gun zealot is running for president and is no longer the laugh line of late night comedy.

The Democratic Primary still has flocks of candidates, and today's front runners (Such as Pete Buttegiege) are tomorrow's single digit candidates as was former VP Biden who used to be the far out front runner. People are starting to take Bloomberg seriously, and if you support the second amendment maybe you should take him seriously too.

Bloomberg has been hiring staffers and opening offices in places the other candidates haven't even considered yet, and some they have. Bloomberg pays very high salaries particularly for people who have experience organising phone banks and neighborhood canvases. The net is full of stories of people who support Warren or Biden or others working for double the salary for Blooomberg. When you are making 3,000 a month, a jump to 6,000 is quite a bit. When Democratic candidates look to expand into a state they find no experienced staffers to hire.

Other than CA and TX most candidates are just now starting to think of other states in the Super Tuesday states, and when they do they find that most of the experienced people work for someone else. A recording of Bloomberg sounding as if he were targeting minorities with Stop and Frisk that went viral last week was matched by endorsements from some members of the Congressional Black Caucus. Money talks and a million dollar contribution can make a congressional district in Georgia or Mississippi. The lefty think tank Center For American Progress has gotten six figures, there've been donations to most big city mayors nationwide.

How much money do you think it would take to simply pay one or more of these candidates to drop out of the race. TV time has gone up in price, if it's still available, Bloomberg has had adds up in places he isn't even running. Arkansas has more delegates than Iowa and New Hampshire combined and the only poll there shows Bloomberg leading. A third of the primary delegates are up for grabs on Super Tuesday, and some states are not winner take all. With this many candidates it's entirely possible for there to be no candidate with a clear majority, in that case it's a brokered convention, which means the people running the Democratic Party get to choose.

Political Parties above all seek power, or that's how it is these days. It's entirely possible Mike Bloomberg could be president with lots of money to corrupt congressional races, like the senate. Polling shows people undecided right up to elections lately, like 30% undecided.

If you live in a state that allows anyone from any party to vote in the primaries you might consider doing so. I'm a lefty on matters economic, with guns I'm even more liberal, liberal in the sense of expanded rights not restricting them.

    M. Doomberg = H. Ross Pee-rot.
He is a distraction for those who dislike Trump, but will vote Trump over Comrade "Crazy" Bernie.
Doomberg may be a serious distraction, but he'll never pull enough votes (he's too socialistic himself!) to elect either "Crazy" Bernie or the Butt-Judge!

Only "closet (D)" conservatives would sink so low as to "sell" their vote.

    Now buying (D) precinct captains?
Might be another whole new ball game.

(D)'s will sink to invading (R) voter rolls to sway primaries.
No self respecting (R) would even consider registering as a (D).
We have this problem in my home precinct. Due to past history, anyone who wants to run in a local election, runs as a (D).
My (R) primary ballot will only have state seats or higher.
The (D) ballot will be twice as long with all the names for local judges, county commissioners, sheriffs, etc.

I will vote for ANYBODY the Democrats put up if Trump is the GOP candidate again. The Democrats are split enough on the gun issue that I'm not really worried about anything real bad making it through Congress (which I can easily forecast will be overwhelmingly Democrat this time around ... thanks to Donald Trump).

With the likes of Nadler, "Pencil neck" Schiff, Omar, Tlaib, Hirono, Pelosi, & Co?
I'm gonna tuck this away for a later date!
America is so fed up with (D) shenanigans, I'd be surprised if the (D)'s don't lose every seat up for grabs.

        We'll see, Honk!

Then I will vote for DJ against ANY democratic candidate, even though I wasn't planning on voting for a presidential candidate.

          You sir, are completely nullified.

          Enjoy your nullness.

The left had a campaign against the 1% not long ago yet Soros and Bloomberg fund most of the lefts agenda.

Bloomberg is dangerous to more than just the 2A.

When pure ‘hatred’ is the only source of so called intelligence on the issue of voting, and leaving out the consequences of open borders, gun control, the elimination of ICE, socialism, abortion, legal voter ID, transgender rights which remove the rights of others, that certainly shows the absence of any brain power on the part of the hater !! To confirm that, read OHH’s post above about voting for ANYONE the dimwits would run. Talk about true evidence of stupidity, it is all there in his one word......ANYONE !!!! And this comes from someone who has forsaken this country for another. Who needs the input concerning our issues from the ilks of those ???!!!

Joe is senile. And crooked as sin.
                He had no chance.
Proly ran just so they could drum up the impeachment, that Trump went after a rival "candidate".
Biden was nothing but a prop.

Bloomberg is the broker, dunno if really wanting to run, or just control the DNC. My guess is Booty and Bernie may split the party. Bloomberg then pull the strings to have Hillary swoop in and unite/save the party.

                Hillary/Bernie ticket.
Of course Booty will be Sec of State if they win.

I am deeply upset with Mayor Pete's claims of being a Christian.
                Moral relativism.

Don't care what he does in personal life. Don't agree with it but also don't care.
However, claiming to be Christian and engaged in that lifestyle..........is a bold faced lie.
                You can't be both.

So with corruption to the highest order there, I can't trust the SOB on anything else.

If he said he believed in God and left it at that, that'd be different.

But he didn't. He is therefore, evil. Or an instrument of it.
If he ignores the Bible, yet claims to be a believer, I seriously doubt he gives a damn about the Constitution.

Who needs the input concerning our issues from the ilks of those ?
I think any input is OK. Better to know, than not to know. And as for not being from this country, I still would like to hear their input, regardless of how inflammatory it's designed to be, because as much as they hate to admit it, America is still "kind of a big Deal." The U.S. election is of importance to the world.

OHH, Democrat Senator Doug Jones of Alabama will most likely be replaced by a Republican. It was a fluke he won last time. The Senate will remain in Republican control and the House is now in play because of the mishandling of the impeachment proceedings.

I'm going to vote for President Trump no matter who is running against him. I like what he's done so far to cut back the damage Obama made to our country. It will be great to see President Trump to continue, with the Republican Senate, to put conservative Federal judges in place over the next 5 years. The hope is to add at least one more on the US Supreme Court.

I find it ironic that the Trumpsters are now applying the "pure hatred" moniker to anyone who speaks against their idol. Trump got elected playing the hatred card (the big reason I lost all respect for him). All that childish name-calling. Making fun of a physically handicapped journalist. The blatant lies. Every time he makes a gaff or gets caught fabricating the truth, liberal hatred is behind it. I just don't get that. Never his fault. A cheap dodge. And spewing hatred is not a tactic he abandoned once elected. Look at all the trash talk in his tweets every day.

This brings to mind an incident shortly after Obama was elected. The Park Service received a sizeable private donation to renovate the historic Thomas Hill Studio at Yosemite. Someone somewhere decided just before the final approval of the project that maybe the exhibit text should be sent down to the park historian (which was me). Seems to make sense. A lot of understandable historical mistakes from hack interpretive rangers working on the project. Somewhat understandable. But then I come to the part about Lincoln signing act that set aside the park. Not much more could be said about it except that Abe did it. He never left any record of his thoughts on conservation or the reason for signing the act. Kinda obvious though. The legislators from California wanted a park and it was the richest state in the Union, a Union that was at war and desperately needed gold to pay for it. Sure, why not sign away Yosemite Valley and keep the California lawmakers happy and on board with the Union. So knock it off trying to make Lincoln into some champion of conservation. Next sentence for that exhibit about made me soil myself. Out of the blue something about Lincoln succeeding to bring a divided nation together much like the newly elected president Obama. What the?? I went straight to the head of division: "Is someone nuts? You can't authorise putting that crap in an exhibit owned by the public. It's politically partisan and besides that total BS." "Sorry, the donor insists." Remember this is California. I went back to my office, confirmed in an email what I had said, with the addition that when (not if) the NPS gets sued (again) I would be compelled in court to confirm my objections. The exhibit wording was cleaned up ... but I was a marked man after that. Oh well. Like I wanted to spend the rest of my career in California? However, I will say this, Obama did at least make an effort to bring the country together. This clown has made a career of tearing the nation apart. Feeding the fire every chance he gets (sometimes up to eighty tweets on a weekend). It's how he gets attention. It's how he has sold himself his entire life. If people wind up shooting each other in the streets on election night he could care less ... as long as he can point a finger at someone ... anyone except himself. He hasn't made America great. His hatred is wrecking the very fabric of our society.

Tester's family has owned a large farm/ranch near Big Sandy for generations (homesteaded in 1912). He's back there all the time running the place himself. He was around when I was hunting in Montana last fall. I suspect he may have been there to go hunting since it is generally very good down around Big Sandy. I think it would be strange if Tester didn't have a hunting license every year. In contrast, the transplanted Maryland land developer who was running against him has lived in Montana for what eight years? Well, he's owned land there anyway. I got a kick out of his homespun TV ads with him and his spanking new Stetson riding a horse while supposedly working his trophy ranch over near Billings. That guy had probably never sat in a saddle before in his life and any real farmer/rancher could tell it at a glance. Holding the reins with two hands up around his boobs! Looked like some little kid riding a carousel.
