Jimbo - If there is any foul play, it will be on the part of Trump, now that the Senate has given him a green light on abuse of power.
How can you say that without including all the other actors that are working NOW to influence the election ? Look them up, there are a bunch of them.

The term Trump Derangement Syndrome started out in life as Bush Derangement Syndrome in 2003. Then the Obama supporters lifted it as sort of a Presidential Derangement Syndrome.
Now it's a case of "monkey see, monkey do" with the Trump supporters, thinking it's an original psychological concept demonstrating their cleverness.

I've been going back and forth as to what my ideal govt would be in Jan 21. Maybe Trump plus slight D majorities in both sides of the congress, combined with a desperation to get things done. Seems like when a President wants to accomplish things, and he is willing to work with the other party, some of his own party come along. Trump could always veto, and the 2/3 needed to override it wouldn't be possible with a slim majority. I don't want either party being free to enact their more whacky ideas. Would be better than a Sanders working with Rs in control of senate and house, we've seen that before nothing was done.

Problem is the party out of control shuts everything down so the President gets nothing accomplished for people to be happy about.

Maybe a do-nothing congress is a good thing.

Rat, Trump needs a Conservative Congress to get things done. We will see Tuesday what is on his agenda. I did hear him say the economy is so strong he is going to start chipping away at the national debt.

Trump has often boasted that he is "the king of debt," and he has added more to the national debt in three years that Barack Obama did in eight.
And now he is going to reduce it?
                  Yeah, right.

Jimbo if you gave Republicans carte blanche to do anything they wanted they'd say no taxes for anyone making over $400K and eliminate SS, medicare, and medicaid. Maybe start an endless war over made up excuses to shovel some more no bid contracts to their buddies. Not much faith in mainstream Rs. Trump is a little better in that he's anti immigrant but that's about his only good part. Supremes are already done, don't need protection for guns anymore. Rs haven't done much good in the past 100 years.

I'll give Trump credit where credit is due.
He just added six countries to the list of places from which we do not accept immigrants.
He gets a "A" from me on immigration.
