I've been listening to the trial intermittently while driving mid mornings. For a while anyway. It's kind of funny and kind of sad. The senate is so caught up in partisanship they dare not cross any party lines but they do all their speechifying as if they were on the most moral side of history. The Dems keep hammering on the facts and the Republicans cry about what an unfair thing this all is. Can't just let the guys who were in the room and privy to the whole drama testify, all Republicans by the way. Oh, noez!

It most reminds me of the time they all chose to go to war with a country that had done nothing to us rather than face the wrath of the Rove. Voting against your party means a well funded primary, and these politicians would give Alaska back to Russia before they'd lose an election.

I keep wondering how much Putin has on Trump. Pictures? Video? Trump sure does act like a lap dog. And all this effort to besmirch Biden whom most people don't think could win an election as dog catcher though he until this week was ahead in the polls when he wasn't sniffling womens hair.

I guess the average number of witnesses at an impeachment trial is 30 something. This one is a big fat Zero. Is Bolton really that scary? I mean what are they hiding. Bet it's a lot, tip of the iceberg if you will.

Bolton would be a bad witness as I suspect most items would be classified or executive protected.
The Dems had ample time to parade a host of witness before the House hearing.
Pelosi is so full of hatred she wants to totally remove the Government; Trump, Pence, Pompeo and Barr. What a banana republic we would be if she succeeded. I don't think the Country could survive if she were successful. You can tell from this that Trump was touching the nerve of the 'Deep State' and they are fighting for their political life.

Yes I believe that was the same poll that predicted Hilliard to win the election. Polls prove one thing , liberals in this country want their agenda and speak out in droves! Say one thing conservative and the wrath of god is on you! Not my slant , not my opinion just the fact of the world today.

No matter which party is in control of the WH, there is always dirt in politics ! But if we want to compare the consequences of the Ukraine issue to those of open borders, the defeat of the 2A, socialism, the banning of ICE, sanctuary cities/states, the concept of the dimwits justice reform, free medical care for all, no deportation of any illegal immigrants and all other idiocy of the dimwit party, can we actually think there is any comparison ?? If Trump would be impeached and in next election a dimwit would be elected, can we actually think this country would/could survive what is in store for us ?? Guys I live in North eastern MD , I work on in Delaware. I was born there and a resident for a while. I work with the movers and shakers of the State of Delaware, Joe Biden was my Parents lawyer before he entered the public life . I know his close friends , I know his closet supporters. I know where the man lives . I’ve been in his home ! Hunter Biden has benefited from his dads misuse of power for years , talk to anyone who ever hired him like MBNA out of Wilmington Delaware. Joe got him the job , put pressure on for a position he could not handle, forced a office etc! If you want this trial to be real and fair , then let the Dems start with their own party and ask Joe to leave the presidential race! Delaware is a small place , we all know the dirt and believe me it’s dirty! Trump hasn’t did himself any favors but I can see from the day he was elected that liberals have been after him , just like a bunch of spoiled children . This is not the party I grew up with and quite frankly it’s embarrassing . It use to be the party to give voice to all the people, not it tries to slime all who don’t agree! Republican Sen. John Barrasso was a guest on CNN this morning complaining that the Democrats know that they don't have the votes to remove the president from office, and that they are conducting this impeachment for the purpose of removing him from the ballot in 2020.
I don't think there is much chance of that, but repeated disclosure of the president's conduct is bound to hurt him in the general election.
