  • How Do I Know ???

How do I decide who to vote for in the November Election ? Easy, just look around at the squalor in the Cities that have been controlled (raped) by the Liberal Democrats for the past half Century. Ask yourself, DO I WANT THAT FOR THE COUNTRY ? Not a hard decision. Vote Conservative for President and then down ticket. JMHO

Larger cities and metro areas are liberal bastions because the inhabitants are primarily on the Gov't teat.
Getting those welfare slugs to vote (R) ain't happening!
What we are beginning gbto see is the black community is beginning bv to wake up to the likes of Jackson and Sharpton. They make their living stirrings up racial unrest.
Trump is now pulling more ethno votes than any POTUS in history.
I would not be surprised to see the "black voter" turnout for Trump greater than those who voted for Obama.

If only it were that easy. We've flipped presidents as well as the congress back and forth over the past 35 years, and economic policy is mostly determined at the federal level. The malaise has expanded far beyond the cities also. The Rs say big tax breaks and buying arms will solve all, the Dems say big tax breaks and some obscure program that helps no one will solve all. And no matter who wins what the other side blocks all efforts to do anything. Fiscally the Dems are more conservative but that does nothing. I am for sure splitting my ticket. My senator who is an R and an old fashioned product of the great plains will probably lose anyway which is a shame as he's the type who would rather lose an election than vote against his conscience. For Pres I'm either Yang, Sanders, or Trump, in that order. Congress isn't a contest, we are a very conservative district.

If you had to choose one Dem primary candidate who would it be?

Rat, I think you have been infected by the Liberal virus. Sanders is an avowed Commie and the MSM and Dem Party are starting to sabotage him like they did before. Yang is unknown and probably does not have a chance. Mayor Pete is being portrayed by the MSM as a Moderate, he is as far from Moderate as he can be, even left of Bernie.
As far as Cummings and Baltimore goes. He was elected in that district for 1/2 his life. He became wealthy and Baltimore became a shit hole. City after City with total Democratic control for the last half century the story is the same. Is that what you want of the Country ? Not me. The Dems are destroying what used to be grand old Cities, one by one, and look what we have.

          rat, your guy Yang:
          https://www.yang2020.com/policies/the-freedom-dividend/

How does that get freeloaders up off their butts to go to work?
          It doesn't!
It would just make that many more people dependent on the Gov't!

The (D)'s create "victims" the same way Jackson and Sharpton "create" victims. You whip you base into action by promising to help "victims".
Just like Cummins, Waters, Johnson, Lewis, Jackson-Lee, Al Green, et al.
It's just a scam and when you call their hand on it, they get all indignant!
Bet every one of those cats live in fenced in, private security, million dollar mansions while their "constituents" scramble over cardboard boxes and alley ways.

TRUMP all the way! Economic policies really won’t work if people don’t know nothing or have skills to accomplish getting out of bed! I live in CNY closest city to me has one of nations highest poverty rates and there’s a lot of job openings figure that out! I like living here great public land deer and turkey hunting some grouse also walleye and bass fishing is great but some day will sadly move to free state

                Me too, pighunter.
Got a couple of (R)'s I'd just as soon go "down-the-road" in OK, but still better than the (D)'s that want to replace them.

In local elections, nearly every local runs on the (D) ticket. Lot'sa guys in town are hardcore (R) but register (D) to vote in local elections.
I really don't care about penny ante local elections.

Thanks for the shout out Bubba, the more people get that message the more I like it. I'll repost just to do it one more time. https://www.yang2020.com/policies/the-freedom-dividend/

Trump did the same last year but it was only for people like me and with higher incomes. $20K tax break right off the top. Lowered my rates too. Bush lowered capital gains so all that money I make off the market is 15% tops, heck your lowly Walmart worker pays that much on dollar number one. The difference is I take all my savings and plow it into the market or savings. Doesn't do much good. You give a thousand a month to that Walmart worker and he's going to spend just about all of it causing the economy to expand. All those people in CA with mortgages on 3 million dollar houses already get a much bigger chunk of change from Uncle Sam than some burger flipper getting an extra thousand. Heck we get $27K worth of pre tax health care, says so right on my wife's w-2, I pay attention to tax breaks. Bezos who owns Amazon and the Washington Post which is so left it makes me blush paid a big fat Zero in taxes. One of the richest guys in the US, probably the richest.

My kid will turn 18 in a year, Freedom Dividend would about pay instate tuition. I'd use mine to supplement social security in a couple years. What would you do with $1,000 a month for you and anyone else 18 or over in your family?

I like Trump better on immigration, he's trying hard on all fronts. Stupid with tax cuts though, and spends too much on bombs. Trillion dollar deficit, new record. All that impeachment stuff is stupid too, idiot can't even keep from doing stupid stuff he doesn't need too. Bad on climate.

Biden is Bush, so is Buttigieg, Warren isn't much better except she'd make the Bankers follow the law slightly, they're all terrible on immigration. Klobuchar is good about wolves, comes from Minnesota, but otherwise same as Bush/Clinton.

Sanders is like Trump in that he's a populist. Says what he wants and doesn't worry about it. I'd be happy if he taxed the living whatever out of the billionaires. Sanders would be better at pushing legislation through than Trump, knows Washington more.

No one answered. If you had to choose from amongst the Dems (or sanders who is a Democratic Socialist) Who would it be?

Rat, You are way off on your characterization of the candidates. In answer to your question there is not one I consider right for the Country at this time. Does not matter though, my prediction is there will be a brokered convention and someone not even on the stage at this time will be nominated.

I'll say this for Rock Rat - I may not agree with him, but he has done a very thorough analysis, and has thought things through, which is more than I can say for the rest of you, who just vote a straight party line without looking at the name on the line.

To answer Rock Rat's question, I would say that Joe Biden would be the least objectionable candidate of the Democratic group.
In fact, he is the only normal person in the race.
And according to the most recent polls, he is probably our next POTUS.
