You said (see above) it would be more convincing if I said Trump was INNOCENT!

Well, I said, "Trump is innocent."

Even Adam Schiff admits there was no "quid pro quo"!

So you just lied. You have reversed "innocent until proven guilty".
    Way to go!

    • Until the White House produced the rough transcript of the telephone call, we had only the whistle blower's hearsay evidence of wrongdoing.
But now, with the documentary proof of the request for a Ukrainian investigation of Joe Biden, we can judge for ourselves whether Trump was guilty of asking for something that would be politically beneficial to him in the election campaign: he would be able to complain that his Democratic opponent was "under investigation for corruption" by a foreign government.
The rough transcript of the phone call is direct evidence of that request.

          "... Bubba Trump hasn't outsmarted anyone. ..."

Huh? If you think he hasn't "outsmarted" anyone, why is he still in office? Just lucky?
The (D)'s have thrown everything but the kitchen sink at Trump to no avail.
Name one other POTUS in US history that has been investigated as much as Trump!

"... He benefits from the current extreme partisanship. ..."

What partisanship? (D)'s and (R)'s alike have turned on him.

"... He won against the second most disliked candidate and single worst campaigner ever to run for President. ..."

Who is the "first" most disliked candidate? Trump? HE WON!
Do you realize that according to a Quinnipiac poll, Trump's approval is higher that Obama's at this same point in his presidency?

"...He won against Republicans by running to the left, lots of supporting working people, in many ways left of Clinton. ..."

He won against Rino's! No POTUS in the last 50 years has put more people to work, reduced welfare rolls and created a more worker friendly economy than Trump.

"... Trump has been the consistently most disliked president * since polling began. ..."

But you leave out WHO dislikes him!
At the * in your sentence, add; "by the media and liberals."

"... He is a buffoon, has serious mental issues, and a narcissistic personality disorder. ..."

A "buffoon" that the best and brightest (D)'s and liberals are unable to unseat!
          NOW who's the buffoons!

          "... mental issues ..."

          Mental issues?
The entire DNC and a (D) controlled House and "Trump" has mental issues?
...lest we forget the shenanigans of Wasserman-Schultz (rigged Democrat primary!) and Brasile (slipped HRC debate questions) and TRUMP has mental issues?

"... He has brought cronyism to the white house as it has never been before. ..."

Sadly, I'm sure you believe that.

"... The economy is a continuation of Obama. ..."

          How soon you forget!
Obama swore to us that GDP above 1% to 1.25% was the "new norm" and would NEVER go above that ever again.
The Trump admin has created GDP above 3% every quarter since taking office.

          "... Isis still exists, ..."

The ISIS caliphate no longer exists. They drug Nazi's before tribunals for decades after "defeating" Germany.

"... and this year we've close to a trillion in deficit spending, all so we could borrow from China to give me a tax break. ..."

Only one trillion? Compared to Obama doubling the debt, that's not too bad.

"...But he's good on immigration, and has cut a lot of trade with China. Sunday update below. ..."

Get the wall built (despite Democratic efforts to stop it [Trump has mental issues and has outfoxed the entire (D) party]) and tie a "trade" knot in China's tail and lots of that trillions in debt will disappear.

          • Foreign influence in our election?

            What about other people's elections?

Obummer tried to influence the Israeli election, even went over and campaigned against Bibi.

Freakin hopped a plane and went over. That in addition to how many phone calls, leveraged how many policies/enacted others?

Let's also not forget that Obummers and HRC's middle east interference led to the Libya take over by ISIS and the "Arab Spring"!
...not to mention five brave American souls they threw to the wolves on a whim!
How about HRC's red "Reset" button?
Last, but not least, the hot mic "Tell Vlad (Putin) I'll have more leeway once the election is over."

              • There is also this little agreement that kicks Schiff and his liberal panel mates a good, swift kick in the arse!

                http://dcwhispers.com/doh-did-you-kn...cuting-crimes/

Trump was well within his rights to ask the Ukraine for help.

                You ask for it 99!

                Trump is INNOCENT!

                  Enacted?
Shall we forget how Trump is easily reversing much of Obama's "legacy" by simply reversing Obama E.O.'s?
Obabble KNEW 95% of his policy would NEVER get past any kind of House or Senate scrutiny, therefore, he "ruled" by fiat. Issuing E.O.'s thinking if his E.O. would establish a "precedent", it would forevermore be upheld as "law"!

"Law of the Land" is a liberal standard! Of course unless the law is inconvenient!
About a month ago, the rules were changed to allow "whistleblowers" to report "hearsay" evidence!
Until then, a whistleblower had to have first hand "knowledge". Not made up backroom gossip!

                  • I looked at the treaty document, and it does not appear to be applicable to this case.
It seems to require a formal request, in writing,, specifying the evidence sought by the requesting party.
Here is an excerpt from the treaty:

Article 4 prescribes the form and content of written requests under the Treaty, specifying in detail the information required in each request. The article permits other forms of requests in emergency situations but requires written confirmation within ten days (or more as agreed)

                    • It does not legitimatize a fishing expedition, or what Donald Trump would call a "witch hunt."
But this took quite a bit of legal research. Nice try.

Without the presentation of any credible credentials from you, 99explorer, except an anonymous "handle", pertaining to your ability to teach, interpret, practice or any education at all in what we all can presume is "International Law", I'll just have to call your interpretation B.S. (and I don't mean Bachelor of Science) and say, "Nice try! But thank you for playing the game!"

Throw some credentials out here and I might buy your song and dance! Until then, you're just flapping in the breeze.

                        • It appears 99, that what you are saying, is that just because Biden is a political candidate, he has immunity from any kind of investigation into his background or past political dealings. That he is above any form of criticism, and if he should receive such, it is only BS being used by Trump to purposely make him look bad. As a political candidate, he opens himself to any form of investigation or criticism, he has no immunity to anything. If he is a dick-head, then so be it !!

                          • If that Ukrainian Treaty has any exculpatory value to Donald Trump, his attorney will probably offer it into evidence at his impeachment trial in the Senate, and Chief Justice John Roberts will rule on its merits.

                            • BTW, while the impeachment inquiry is underway, Pres. Trump is still capable of compounding his difficulties by his actions prior to actual impeachment.
For instance, he is not yet accused of witness intimidation.
He is currently demanding to know the identity of the whistle blower, asserting that he has a right to be confronted by his accuser.
I can't wait to see how that plays out.

                              • Wow! The story is now being floated that Hillary Clinton may yet throw her hat in the ring.
I doubt it, as the odds makers are giving 20-1 odds against it.
