  • Impeach?

Pelosi tonight called for an impeachment inquiry. She's been avoiding holding one forever, the reasons a proceeding are bad are many. Bad for Dems politically, bad because voters would rather vote people out of office. It could backfire and you can't impeach someone just because they are a rude lowlife liar. This time though Trump might have stepped in it.

It looks very likely that he withheld $400 million in badly needed military aid to Ukraine in their war with Russia demanding the Ukraines supply some dirt on Biden. Bolton the National Security advisor was dead set against this as were many Republican senators etc. The Russians after all did invade a sovereign country.

I have a funny feeling about this one, and I don't expect Trump to get much loyalty from the R party. They support him when they are scared of him, they'll turn a 180 in a heartbeat if it's in their best interests. Politicians are some of the most chicken hearted in existence.

Not sure how it leaves me feeling. Been reading candidates platforms and getting disgusted. One suggests raising PR funds another 30% to fund anti gun nuttery. Two say ban all fracking (and buy from the Saudis maybe?) or how about AR confiscations, not sure who is anti confiscation, Sanders I think, maybe Shotgun Joe. Most everyone is pro open borders. With those kinds of platforms they'd lose to a dead fish in the general.

    Will impeachment pass the house?

If they ever make a movie out of this, I nominate Meryl Streep to play the part of Donald Trump.

      Nothing burger witch hunt.
About 3/4 of the (D)'s in the House need to be brought up on treason charges.

"...you can't impeach someone just because they are a rude lowlife liar. - rock rat ..."

Too bad! We could get rid of every (D) in D.C. if that were possible!
Schiff, Nadler, Murphy, Lewis, Tlaib, Omar, Cummins, etc, etc...
(and quite a few (R)'s too!)

Since the "escalator ride", the (D)'s and quite a few "never Trumpers" have pulled every sleazy, slime ball stunt they can imagine and it's all been for naught!

The (D)'s have become the epitome of "insanity".
"Performing the same task over and over again expecting a different result each time!"

Stop the horseplay, get back to governing!

They've been running a non stop impeachment inquiry since before he was sworn in. Yawn. No idea what Pelosi was trying to accomplish. A little job security before the elections maybe.

            "Cocaine" Mitch to (D)'s

Impeachment is not a tool to be used to "relitigate" an election you lost.

"Did she (Pelosi) have a vote in the House to conduct an impeachment inquiry? No, she simply announced one. How is that substantively different from what her Judiciary chairman Jerrold Nadler did just a week or ten days ago?"

I f you want to get the whole story, you have to skip back and forth between Fox News and CNN.
CNN focuses on what Trump did, and Fox focuses on what the Democrats are doing.

It appears that just prior to Pelosi's announcement of the impeachment inquiry, Donald Trump called her to see if they could "work something out."
We can only wonder what he was willing to offer as his part of the deal..

Sympathy ploy by the D's to make Trump look like he went after Uncle Joe.
Pre election painting of Trump as nothing but vindictive.

Never mind Biden's sons millions off of Ukraine deal, and even more money of questionable movement.

Classic case...............do something super illegal and demand you enemy get a ticket/fine.
The ol point at you but have three fingers pointing back.

Standard liberal tactic..........scream loud enough, all the time, about everything, but use a word like "collusion" or "impeach" and the brainless masses will fall for it.

Problem is, most people do see it for what it is, but those pushing the lies, end up believing their own BS.

That worked out well for em with Hillary LOL.

Seriously, liberalism is a mental illness.

BTW, if climate change is so bad, think of all the energy and resources used to maintain a standard of living..........for each person. Obviously if one is an environmental hero...........the only solution to combat combat climate change............is less people.

They need to prove how much they care, by simply killing themselves en masse.

But no, they want to be "woke" and have all their Chinese ( world's #1 polluter) made I phones, Macbooks and other..........and then tell us how evil we are.

                      Insane.

The current White House spin on the impeachment inquiry is that it will be beneficial to Trump's reelection campaign.

The latest headcount shows 206 representatives in favor of impeachment. It takes 218 votes to carry the measure, and there are thirty Democrats not yet committed to impeach.

                              In favor....without all the facts.
                              Hmmmmm.
                              That kinda says it all.
The Ds will hand Trump a landslide in 2020.
