                  Considering that Franchi and Bubba are both right I'd be inclined to say that the cows is multitasking.

                    A good friend of mine who manages a ranch had a group of heifers killed by lightning that traveled down a fence. I don't recall exactly how many was in the group as its been a few years, but I do believe it was twenty-something head.
