Guess who will turn 75 on August 9th? Smokey the Bear!

    What should we get him?

That would be the "Green Check Mark" answer on the old website. Nice.

Wonder if those powerline fires delivered energy to electric vehicle chargers prior to flame.

I used to see commercial with him back in the day now I don’t see him anywhere. Do they still have signs with him.

They still run radio ads regularly, Sam Elliot does the voice over for Smokey. Sometime back they changed the slogan from Forest Fires to Wild Fires. Probably due to the suburbs that burn up during fire seasons.

We still get "Smokey the Bear" TV ads occasionally.
They are usually "live" actors and a Smokey the Bear costumed "person".
...and yes, it's "wild fires" now instead of "forest fires".

It's hot here and we haven't seen rain on quite some time, so it's getting "crispy" dry.
About the first of August, Fort Sill will start setting "range fires" with their live fire drills. Happens every year unless we get heavy rains.

Lots of them here in the NJ Pine Barrens. My park has one out in front. I have to change the fire danger level on it as needed.
