The main issue is to replace the Forum as so many have already stated at previous times ! It separates the political from the premise of the site in the first place. But with politics being important in our lives, it would still give a place for these discussions.

Tree, I think that would add a lot of useless posting just to add up points thru replies and comments. Whenever value of points is in the equation, the value of content would diminish, but that is only my opinion !

The idea of private message ability is a great suggestion ! That can now only be done thru the “reply” option and that ties up space and many users do not like the “personalization” of the act of doing so, thinking it turns the site into a “facebook” situation. How it could be done, I have no idea, but it should be looked into by website IT !
