    They just look at how well you answer things (was it helpfull etc.) Hope I can get some awesome gear! good luck

    i think the stars and points just help the editors or whoever is in charge of the gear see who uses their sight the most and then from their they look at their questions and answers

    The way I was told and understand that F&S looks at your questions and comments as a plus or minus. Why should a person that has recieve alot of points by asking stupid questions and and answering questions that they do not have knowlege about that subject recieve field test gear? Don't get wrong there is alot of users that have lots of points and know what they are talking about. The way I understand you can get field gear test for experince and unexperince in the area, so I don't what to tell you, hope somebody will clear it up some. I'm wondering myself actually.
