The National Rifle Association is the promoter of the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania Sportsmen Show this year. Is anybody planning to attend the show? I will be there during the final weekend on February 8th and 9th. I can’t make the show’s first weekend because of my family’s Super Bowl party. The show runs from February first to the ninth. Maybe we can meet up for lunch at one o clock in the cafeteria or meet up at the NRA booth. I will buy lunch for the first ten Field and Stream users. Who coming those days and who wants a free lunch?

smccardell, sounds good and I am looking forward to breaking bread with you.
Hindsight, it may be better to meet in the cafeteria inside the banquet hall at 1 pm.
I will be wearing a cardinal red baseball cap that has a photo of a buck running broadside. The words on my cap are "Kevin Tourand Outfitters" listed above the buck and "White Fox, Saskatchewan" listed under the buck.

Harrisburg didn't have a Sportmen show last year because that stupid promoter from England banned a few firearms.
There was a large protest with many vendors, organizations and guest speakers were boycotting the show. With everybody bailing out the English Promoter canceled the show.
My family members and I booked a couple rooms at a near by Holiday Inn this year and stay overnight on Saturday night. We get up fresh the next morning, eat breakfast and head right back to the show. Tons of Fun!
The show is massive and you need at least two days to see it all.
Steve, next year hooking up sounds like a good plan.
Treestand, enjoy the Florida/Alabama basketball game.

99, LOL
I think it would be funnier if I forgot my Kevin Tourant guide hat and left it home.
Only Joking!
I want everybody to confirm their coming to lunch via this thread.
They can bring it to my attention up to Feb. 7th.
I don’t want three strangers coming up to me at one o clock for a free lunch and saying they are F&S users Manny, Moe and Jack.

May attend this year just to show support for the NRA, but not sure of the date. Superbowl Sunday is always the best day to go to such an event, or to Cabelas in Hamburg, no crowds.
Show is always overwhelming. The crass commercialism can be a bit much to take.
