    So far we have been lucky and the politicians have passed some far reaching bills that are easy for judges to want to overturn. My worry is they will start to pass a barrage of smaller bills that are easier to defend in court. Here's hoping that they stick to their guns (pun intended) and remain stupid.

    In Chicago there has been a substantial win for gun-rights activists. Edmond Chang, a Federal Judge, has recently ruled that Chicago's outright ban on firearms is unconstitutional. But still, even though the ban is unconstitutional doesn't mean the City will not impose strict firearm regulations that will still make it nearly impossible to own a gun. But at least it's a step in the right direction.
