Wikipedia defines “Eating Crow” as an American colloquial idiom, meaning humiliation by admitting wrongness or having been proved wrong after taking a strong position.

There is nothing like “eating crow” on a national website.

When it comes to bowl games forget all the stats, the ratings, the statistics and games played during the year.
Anything goes in a Bowl game.

      Gary Devine-
Do you prefer your crow chicken fried or in a pot of dumplings?

Gary - Who do you like in the Orange Bowl?
I need to know at least a half hour before kickoff.
        Just kidding.

You guys were nice to me after the Sugar Bowl.
I was waiting to get hammered by all.
I thought Sarge would give me the works but he is a nice gentleman.

99, I like Auburn because the South East Conference Teams have dominated in the last seven college championship games. Remember, statistics don't mean [email protected]*t in a bowl games.

          College Champions
          2012-Alabama SEC
          2011-Alabama SEC
          2010-Auburn SEC
          2009-Alabama SEC
          2008-Florida SEC
          2007-LSU SEC
          2006-Florida SEC

          99, bet on the SEC!

Bama was a 17 point favorite. They shot themselves in the foot, therefore they lost big time. The defense has been mercurial most of the year anyway. I have never really followed FSU, but Auburn has been mighty lucky lately so they might pick up all the marbles. I'm going with the War Eagles for the crystal.

              Sheman, Ah Say, Sheeeeeit!

The Heisman winner is reddy fur de N-word Felon League in every way.

After him and O.J., the onliest thang thet could further tarnish the Heisman trophy wood be to let Charles Manson or mebbe Norman Bates play.

Butt he's got everything Bama no longer has.

              FSU by 20 points.

Crm3006, that was funny, plus one. LOL

I never ate real crow but have eaten plenty of the “humiliation crow” in my lifetime.

Woof, if Auburn wins it will be the fifth year in a row that the college championship bowl stayed inside the State of Alabama.

I think FSU is a nine-point favorite. They scored an average of about 53 points per game during the 2013 season, while allowing their opponents about ten points per game.
I don't see another upset in the cards here.

Sauteed rare and sliced thin with a little wasabi is what I recommended to Clay a while back.
