Especially if preceded by a "double dog dare".

Frigid pump handles are especially sticky

My hands freeze to metal all the time, so I would say YES!

There are three kinds of men. The one that learns by reading. The few who learn by observation. The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence (Or lick the frozen flag pole) for themselves. - Will Rogers.

When I was a child we used to keep a steel butter knife in the freezer that we would use to break ice. I used to freeze my tounge to that thing just for fun. It's not hard to un-stick either, just run your tounge under some warm water and it comes right off.

Getting the flagpole under a faucet might be tricky.
