    Dallas if you are really fond of that 1911. Look at www.elenhunting.com Although pricey, they have grips in legal Elephant Ivory, Stag, Fossilized Mammoth and Walrus Ivory.

          They came with rubber grips.

            custom II's are very nice 1911's...my dad put, if i remember correctly, rosewood grips on his and the gun is gorgeous.
