Great to be back home in Montana. Arrived this afternoon. How do you shoot four rooster pheasants in five shots with an hour and a half?

Okay, the limit is only three roosters. Lost one rooster but thought we chased him down and got him. Turns out it was another one. Long weird story.

Anyway, the answer to the question is you must have a wonderful little Brittany that can hold the pheasants tighter than a drum. It was pathetically easy shooting. That little "puppy" (she's 2.5 years now!) is FANTASTIC!!! Her points are absolutely beautiful ... when you can see them. She only weighs 28 lbs and is very hard to see in the tall grass here. She lost her bell too. Hope I can find another one somewhere tomorrow. Off to bed. I am exhausted. Very long drive.
