    The Havahart trap is the best trap if you want to catch them alive and transport them miles away out into the forest.

    Ground hogs eat lettuce, peas, cantaloupe, corn, apples, tomatoes and cucumbers.

    The trail camera photo link below shows a standing ground hog eating an apple while he was surrounded by wild turkeys. That ground hog came in to my deer bait pile everyday to eat my apples.
