      Wilsons Snipe is a small, long billed shorebird. Looks very much like a timberdoodle. Commonly in the fall in swamps I hunt I hear them calling as they fly in the dark before shooting light.

        Hunt them the same way you hunt jackelopes.

          Buck, and labrador are both right.
          They are a small bird found in swampy area's of the south(Lous.,Carolinas). Pretty fun to hunt from what I hear(Got a buddy in Lous. that hunts them.)
