I do not know what to name it, but my wife and I had a pretty good argument or "battle" about me getting out of bed this morning to get the grass cut before the heat set in. Being a southerner and a civil war nut, the only battle that comes to mind is Gettysburg in 1863.

A big one was finally won today in 1867 when the British North America Act was implemented. Yes, today marks the birth of a confederated Canada. Prior to that it was just a collection of British colonies. A helluva lot of stress involved in this long battle but no bloodshed. I think that is the remarkable thing about the creation of Canada - it showed this kind of change can be accomplished without violence.
