A while back I posted a link to an article about a man in Georgia who dove into a river to rescue a 6 year old girl and ended up breaking his back/neck, but despite that still saved the girl. Well on June 28th, 2013 Michael Patterson passed away from his injuries and complications surrounding them, remember this heroic man and his family especially during this holiday season.

He also saved a truck driver from his burning truck.

He died as a hero and the families of the people he saved will be eternally grateful.

Sad story. I don't like to come off sounding like a "know-it-all," but I was taught early on never to jump into strange waters head first.
I once met a young girl in a wheelchair who had dived from a boat into a lake and struck her head on a submerged rock that was not visible from the boat. She became paralyzed from the waist down for life. A damned shame.

I wouldn’t spend that much on a 10/22 but I might on a bolt gun. For that kind of money I expect some style to go with it, of the Cooper or Annie level....
