So I was told that they made smooth bore barrels for the Winchester Model 12 that had rifle sights. Is this true? I can't find anything online about it. If not would it be possible to just have rifle sights added to my Full choke barrel and bore it out to a cylinder bore?

I would leave your barrel the way it is for turkey and waterfowl.
There is a barrel on Gunbroker.com right now with i.c. bore and rib . auction # Winchester Md. 12 12 ga barrel 26 in. cyl. S rib

    Auction # 346589780

    Hope that helps.

Thanks, the only reason I thought of doing that is because I am keeping the gun and I don't hunt turkey/waterfowl

You'd have to be nuts to mess up a Model 12 like that. If you think you can't live without rifle sights go sell the gun and buy a couple of new cheap ones already fixed up with the sights. Don't worry about shooting slugs through a full choke. No problem with that.

I will see what kind of groups I can get @ 50 yards with the bead and slugs before I buy a barrel

Use a rifled slug if you shoot the full choke barrel.

              Don't ruin a Model 12 like that.

Go have your Win M/12 Drilled and Taped for a Scope & Mounts and later have a Poly Chock installed on the Bbl.

Decided to go with the Ithaca Auto Loader w MOD choke. I think that would better suit my needs
