    I'm thinking about buying a H&R; Pardner with a screw in choke. I am using it for probably only turkey hunting anyone have this gun and/or recommend it?

    They aren't bad guns and if you only are using it for a situation you need one shot I don't see why it wouldn't work. If you were going to use it for wing shooting too then I would suggest a pump like an 870 that wouldn't cost you too much more but its what works for you.

      I agree with herbie57. A buddy of mine bought one of the turkey hunting models H&R makes(made). He had two problems, not enough drop in the stock and the gun kicked like a mule which made him develop a case of the flinches!
