Hi...
I'll mostly use skinned animal carcasses for my bait. Then I'll supplement that with lure and urine purchased from professional lure makers. For carnivores only, of course.
It might be 'fun' to make one's own lures, but it takes time and experience...and a LOT of experimentation.
The bulk of my water sets are blind sets, and no lure is used there, (generally), although some lure might be used for some mink and otter sets.
