I don't use one but have considered it because of the unique reticle for long range hunting. I decided against it because of the relatively cluttered reticle and the lack of great accuracy reviews. I have learned to use a normal graduated reticle for range finding and long range holdover and most good scopes have them nowadays. For about $450 you can get an outstanding Vortex Viper scope that is very accurate and extremely useful for long range shooting. The Leupold VX3 is top notch and Niko Monarch will work well too. Both can be obtained with graduated reticles (bullet drop compensator) that help you determine range and holdover. I consider all of these choices to be superior to the Shepard for better or similar price and they all have torture tested warranties.
