He has an overly ambitious domestic agenda and no foreign policy. Due to his immaturity, he took office determined to focus on his agenda and simply ignore any unforeseen events that are unrelated to that agenda. He refuses to be distracted by the routine duties of his office.
In so doing, he has been derelict in duty, and has made all previous presidents look good. He may be impeached before his second term expires.

So the only thing standing between socialism and democracy must be the GOP lead House of Representatives?
Do you folks have any idea that you are being controlled with fear tactics? You are. Every theory out there perpetuated by the right is designed to scare white republican males into staying republican. Socialism, gun bans, government control, the idea of millions of Americans on the teat of the democracy, the Kenyan, destroying the country and more, these are the ideas shopped and marketed by the far right and you buy them and your thoughts and actions are controlled by them.
Why is attempting to get health care for all socialist? Why is attempting to get the wealthy to pay a fair share of taxes socialist? Why is taking care of the old, the infirm, and the poor socialist? You blame Obama for everything debt related but you know that the avalanche was started by Bush. You know that he started 2 wars and nation building unfunded and with lies, and tax cuts for the super rich and an unfunded prescription drug program, but you pay no heed because it does not jive with your programmed ideology.

        1ojolsen,
You asking the same questions I've been for a couple years now. So far the responses are the standard canned Faux talking points. They simply refuse to believe facts...like,
Unemployment steadily trending down, Lowest corporate tax rate in 60 years, Wall Street nearing record all time highs, etc.
Nearly every single metric by which our economy is measured by shows growth but the Faux talkers tell em it's not really true.
They refuse to look at history. They refuse to acknowledge that recessions/depressions such as the one we are recovering from typically last a decade...and they absolutely refuse to acknowledge that that the previous Republican administration is largely at fault for our growing debt. They believe that our poor or unemployed should eat road kill and live under bridges instead of with a little dignity.
I highly encourage all who continue to believe and post the drivel that the Democratic party is giving away freebies to enslave our populace...I like winning elections.

The Government Accountability Office has identified more than 1,362 duplicative programs accounting for at least $364 billion in federal spending per year.
Yet the White House has proposed layoffs for air traffic controllers, border patrol officers, food inspectors and civilians supporting our troops in the Middle east, rather than acting on a proposal by Senate Republicans to consolidate duplicative positions with overlapping responsibilities and nearly identical jobs.

                  99ex,
On January 12 of 2012 President Obama formally asked Congress for permission to combine a bunch of overlapping and redundant programs. He proposed that any recommendation he made would be subject to a straight up or down vote...you can guess what Congress' answer was right?

                    Dallas A. McWhorter,
Forcing people to buy things they don't want huh?
                    I see.
And by those people exercising their right to be fools it ends up jacking up my health care insurance bill...thanks.

what's the policy on senior euthanasia?
you'd think we could find some information on this somewhere...or is it being carried out in secret?

The "United" in United States is certainly questionable at this point.

Hoski - On the surface, it sounds like the president's request for authority to reorganize federal government agencies was very reasonable and long overdue.
A more trustworthy president might have gotten such additional authority, but his own Democratic Finance Committee Chairman saw the gesture as a possible Frankenstein monster and it never got out of committee.

The so-called "death panels" are the Independent Payment Advisory Boards to be set up to allocate health care resources according to a cost-benefit analysis.
Expensive surgical procedures for elderly persons would be subject to a form of rationing, based on life-expectancy tables. The accountants on the board would be asking, "how many years is she going to get out of that new hip."
