Wish I had a Gander Mountain near me! Academy Sports or Franklins Gun Shop have to work for where I live. Mostly I'll order online though!

No "sporting goods" stores. Three non-box "gun" stores. I have to drive 50 miles to Academy for clothing or fishing gear.

Boy thats tough. You made me realize the old "Mom an Pop" outdoor stores got eaten by walmart and the big boys. I miss those guys.

I will bet many of you guys are too young to remember them. Every town had 1. They were the place to go to learn about who was catching what fish from what hole in the river and who spotted the huge old buck down by old man Johnson’s back 40.

That's real easy---J&M Tackle in Orange Beach and Campbell's Hardware in Robertsdale. That's Alabama, by the way. Lots of local knowledge and great customer service---excellent selections.
