Havent seen any of the common stuff, but there have been a couple of boxes of .222, 25-06, and things like that. There also was no buckshot or 6 shot.

Local shelves are fairly empty. One retailer has a flashing sign that advertises "NO .223, NO 22 LR, NO 9 mm." Other outlets, box stores, and gun stores have only oddball calibers and shot-shells, and most have a two or three box limit per customer per day rule in effect.

Yes. I live 25 miles south of San Antonio TX and shelves are very picked over. I've found one single hundred box of 22 rimfire for nearly $8.

It's slim picking in southwestern Ohio. Stores are still getting ammo but the hoarders trying to make money must have a mass email to one another and buy it up within hours of hitting shelves. It's not limited to ammo either, guns mainly ar's and certain handguns are flying off the shelves. People are trying to sell 50 round boxes of 9mm federals for $35 upwards to fifty dollars, 500 round boxes of 22lr are being offered for upwards of $75, 223 are around $25 for 20 rounds, 45's are $60 - $75. Ruger 10/22 run about $450. Bushmasters are priced $1500-2200. Handguns run all over the place but typically 100% markup. All this is private party sales of course and the gun stores have really cracked down on these hoarders/cons, only allowing a 100 rounds and limiting gun purchases to one a household per month. I just can't wait until the dust settles and I can start going back to the range and shoot without a bunch of knuckleheads buying everything up costing everyone more to go have a little fun.

Where are you Tree? Is Putting a limit on what people can buy a pretty common thing across the board nowadays?

There were .22 Shorts in abundance on the shelves of my Gander Mountain store, but the only .22 LR ammo was snake loads.

Things seem to be calming down in MN. There are even unmolested piles of .223 and .22lr. Not in the variety and quantity from before the panic but things seem to be turning around.

Sarge, same here in Indiana. I have been looking for .22 for weeks and nobody has any. Luckly i shoot more shotshells than anything and there are plenty of those around at usual price.
