They vary by state. Our coyotes in South Dakota sold for about $30 unskinned on average. Many states go higher and if you properly skin them you will get a few bucks more. Don't know about bobcats but they are always HIGHer.

    Hi...

You can also get up-to-date fur price info from Fur Taker magazine...also from some trapping web sites.

F-F-G is good, but appear to post most of the higher prices paid.

Fur Fish & Game in case you were wondering, that is a safe bet. Just keep in mind that they'll grade your fur, if it's not prime, don't count your chickens as too valuable.

Subscribe to FFG. They have a monthly column of fur prices and lots of trapping tips, varmint calling, and trapping supplies and videos.

There are some stats in the march issue of another magazine - here is what they say for coyotes:
$128 paid for top quality pelts at Nevada trappers in 2012.
Some other stats - 49 states have coyotes
80% of fawn deaths are coyote
there are 19 subspecies of coyotes
    heaviest weight recorded 74.75lbs
10,900 sheep deaths attributed to coyotes
and, $48 million lost cows and calves.
