    what is the best way to clear out a spot for a greenfield? he spot is off in the middle of some pines and some hardwoods with no roads or anythng going to it, i already somewhat clear, just some underbrush and afew small trees.

    If you can't get a tractor with a brush mower in there, or a dozer, borrow or rent a DR Mower. Those things are the cat's nuts and do everything the ads say about them and more, taking down small trees up to 2" diameter. I have one and love it. When you clear the plot, make sure it is large enough to get plenty of sun or the deer won't like what grows there.
