    Thanks for all the responses. One of my favorites is Jeremiah Johnson. I will definitely have to rewatch my John Wayne collection and A River Runs Through It. As for the others, I will definitely look into them.

    Outdoors with TK and Mike. Just kidding! I too would have to say the Ghost and the Darkness. There not hunting movies, but we have a whole shelf full of Clint Eastwood classics at our camp. (High Plains Drifter is my pick)

    I'd recommend the 1996 film, "The Ghost and the Darkness" starring Val Kilmer, based (loosely) on the man-eating lions of Tsavo in the late 1800s.
