yeah same answer as before, i would just get some wd 40. that's what i did with my bb rifle and it made a little bit of rust go away.

Airguns are convenient in that they only needed to be cleaned a couple of times in your life time. There is no carbon or powder fouling, and any debris gets blown out by the compressed air. If you shoot a lot of pellets there may be a little lead fouling, but that comes out easy.

Spray a tad bit of WD-40 and shoot the rust etc out!

It is on the outside, it is not a air gun, it is a bb gun, it is powered by a spring not compressed air. I think i will try WD 40

That spring powers a piston which pushes COMPRESSED AIR.

hunt_fish, what if the INSIDE of the barrel is a hard plastic, and the barrel on the OUTSIDE is steel, that is getting cloudy, that the only helpful response is WD-40. I cant shoot cloudiness and dirtiness off the OUTSIDE of the barrel

I wouldn’t spend that much on a 10/22 but I might on a bolt gun. For that kind of money I expect some style to go with it, of the Cooper or Annie level....

Would you spend $900 for a Ruger 10/22 to shoot 300yds ? A little over 1" at 100 and a little 0ver 6" at 300yds. Lapua and SK ammo used....
